Burger one of the best I've ever had and the buttermilk chicken don't get me started frys my new favorite ice cream is wonderful definitely come hear again

Good food. Good service. Excellent ice cream and other desserts. House made chips and house made pickles are very good. Nice selection of salads and handhelds. Never had bad service. I think the menu lends itself more to lunch but the choices can suffice for dinner.

Known for their ice cream but best kept secret restaurant. Amazing food but would recommend knowing your order before the waiter comes. The wait is super long but definitely worth it. Great ice cream, chocolate milk, fried chicken, Mac and cheese. Don't get me started on the honey butter biscuit! They do have alcohol!

Great place for delicious homemade ice cream! We came for lunch and really enjoyed out time. Service by Mia was fantastic. We had 3 little ones and she was patient, helpful, and friendly. She made our lunch so much easier and enjoyable. Started with Grandpa John's chili. I'm always suspect of chili outside of Texas and especially in the northern part of the country, but it was delicious. Great body and a slight kick. Filling but enjoyable. For us the big draw was the fried chicken. They cook it once ordered, so it does take a few minutes and comes out very hot. It is pretty good, but I would not say great. I have to say Lee's crispy chicken is the best I have had in Michigan and probably as good as I have ever had. Next time at Guernsey's I will have to try something else. The little ones enjoyed the chicken tenders (huge!) and the cheeseburger. The best was the glass of fresh Guernsey milk ($3 but so worth it). Some of the freshest tasting milk I can remember. So good! Equally or better was the ice cream. A "baby" scoop is a lot of ice cream and so that is the size we ordered. I highly recommend the French vanilla (so rich and made with vanilla pudding)! Their People Magazine award-winning butter pecan was good, but just ok for me - probably just not my cup of tea. Everyone loved their choices on ice cream. Biggest disappointment was no Orange-Pineapple flavor today! Next time...

I got Maguire's Irish mint and a salted espresso. The Irish mint was, well, mint! that's some of the tastiest mint ice cream I've had in a while. It's mixed in with fudge and was tasty every bite. The espresso was forgettable and average, but that mint? 5 . The waffle cone was a little soft. Maybe old? It didn't quite have the crunch I wanted it to have. Service was kind and speedy. Nice picnic tables to eat outside on a hot day. Plenty of parking.

I hadn't been back to Guernsey Farms since their remodel several years ago. Before the remodel, I was not impressed. But I'm happy to say I like what they've done with it and will definitely be back. My family and I weren't terribly hungry so we decided to split a 4-piece chicken dinner $for $19. The 4-piece dinner came with two sides, we opted for the mac and cheese and house made chips and we added a serving of French onion dip for the chips for $2. Everything was good. I thought the mac and cheese was particularly exceptional and plenty ample for splitting between three people. The house chips were a nice sized serving too as was the French onion dip for $2. My only criticism of the food was that the onion dip needed a bit more flavor. I like the redesign, it's much more attractive and modern. Service was excellent. I would give it five stars if not for the water. One thing I despised about Guernsey Farms before and still do is the water - it tastes horrible. I'm not sure if it's well water or what, but they desperately need to do something about it. Until they do, I implore you to order something that doesn't use their water - their excellent chocolate milk or lemonade are good options.

Bright and welcoming. To your left is all ice cream service with many flavors to eat right there. And there are also ice cream for sale to take home - gallons etc - milk- all that. We went to the right. Bar and dining are that way. We grabbed a beer and a bite. My companion had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese. He loved the Mac and cheese and the chicken was good- not overly spicy. I had the Philly without the cheese and still amazing with grilled onions and peppers . Great little spot if you're in the area. Obviously if you're a dairy and ice cream person - this is the place for you.
